I asked what he was looking for. Cops, he tells me. I tell him that there are NEVER cops on the Grapevine. The next song to come on the tape deck? Tim McGraw's <i>Never Say Never</i>. In an instant we were being pulled over by a CHP. Heh. Hey Jenny! you put this post out today, TODAY!, the first day of Barack Obama as the President elect ??? How could you not mention the power of "YES WE CAN!" such an appropriate column for today and you don't even mention the most powerful example of it became a reality in the last 24 hours? hello? And guess what? even Florida came along! you are no longer a red state!! ha ha! Now we all deserve to take the credit for our vision. We did it- and it took millions of us but we did it. We are there! all together and even taking stupid Republicans along with us kicking and screaming. But we'll take them too on the path to our vision of a government that is for the people and not just for giant corporations, a society that cares even about the poor and most vulnerable amongst us, and a green revolution to help us recover from the great damage wreaked upon our country and the world for the past 8 years. They will come along and find they like it, and like us, and like, yes, like even gay people! YEEHA!~ the power of positive thinking! and don't forget- action. (That is really the secret, vision plus action.) I am so thrilled and so proud of my country, myself, to have been part of this people powered revolution, and for the first time, my new government.
